The Singer/Musician Sonu Nigam went to Ramlila Maidan to support Anna Hazare. Sonu Nigam expressed himself what he thinks about him on Twitter.
Sonu Nigam tweeted about Anna Hazare one day before this historical day he tweeted he want to sooth Anna Hazare with some music.
So he went to Ramleela Maidan and performed in front of Anna Hazare. He sang “Vaishnav Jan To tene Kahiye” which was Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite Bhajan. and also performed “Mera Rang De Basanti Chola”.
Sonu Nigam’s expressed himself about Anna Hazare in his tweets, He said:
Visiting the Great Anna Hajaare tomorrow morning. Don’t know Politics. My heart just goes out to the great man’s exemplary sacrifice for people like us. Wanna sooth him with some music. Just like I don’t appreciate a non musician commenting about Music, I’m not authorized to talk about Politics. I know music, and that’s what I’ll spread today. I have heard of Mahatma Gandhi. I wanna see Anna.

It was like meeting a true child saint. touched his cheeks just instinctively. He said “Mujhey Oorja mila hai aapkey aaney aur gaaney se”Told him so many have told me to touch you, thank you..and sent their strength to you. He smiled like an innocent child. He’s a rare man, whom u wanna respect, love, follow, care for and pull his Cheeks too. How many of such kinds we have around? God bless him. Unbelievable.. Just as I left Ramlila Grounds, heard they have reached a consensus! Wow! I met him on a super Historic day. He’s breaking his fast hopefully.
